Role Purpose
Provide support to the Cash and Liquidity team by managing the group’s cash and liquidity resources with a focus on liquidity planning and the optimization of the liquidity profile to support group earnings.

Responsibilities and work outputs
• Monitoring and management of the daily cash management and liquidity management processes.
• Preparation of management and board committee reports.
• Perform cashflow forecasts and variance analysis for the group.
• Cash analytics to enhance cash returns on surplus funds.
• Understand the cash generation of the group and provide projections to enhance the management of liquidity.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance cash management efficiencies, including increasing cash visibility and cash coverage.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary expert teams including group tax, funding, and capital management to optimize the liquidity position of the group.

• Engage with clients in a client centric manner (Client Services)
• Provide authoritative, expertise and advice to clients and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders.
• Deliver on service level agreements made with internal and external stakeholders and clients
• client service within area of responsibility.
• Participate and contribute to a culture which builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback and provides exceptional client service.
• Contribute to financial controls and planning (Finance)
• Contribute to the strategies to grow the funds of the business.
• Identify opportunities to enhance cost effectiveness and increase operational efficiency.
• Provide input into the risk identification processes and communicate recommendations in the appropriate forum.

Experience and Qualifications
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related
• Preferably qualified CA (SA) studying towards an international treasury qualification
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in a Treasury or Finance environment
