ACTSA Webinar: Debt Capital Markets Commercial Paper Amendment Update

The South African Prudential Authority has recently published a new set of proposed amendments to the Commercial Paper Exemption Notice of 1994 (Notice). Casper Van Heerden, Partner, Head of Debt Capital Markets at Bowmans will discuss these amendments and draw comparisons with the first draft amendments to the Notice published a year ago in 2023. He will also highlight the challenges which remain with the drafting and propose a way forward for corporates considering these amendments.
